Class Description

COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27! Age: 11-15 years old 50 minutes 1 day per week Pack your curiosity — we’re traveling the world! In this engaging, hands-on middle school geography class, learners explore Earth through maps, cultures, ecosystems, and wildlife as they discover how our planet’s land, water, climate, and people are all connected. Students don’t just learn about geography — they experience it through creative projects, interactive challenges, and real-world exploration. Each week brings a brand-new adventure. Students might design their own maps, practice using latitude and longitude, investigate continents and countries, study famous landforms and bodies of water, or explore how climate and natural resources shape the way people live. Along the way, we connect geography to the natural world by learning about animals and their habitats — discovering why penguins thrive in icy regions, why camels live in deserts, or how rainforest animals adapt to life in the canopy. Every lesson includes a hands-on or art-based activity to help students bring their learning to life — building, drawing, mapping, and creating as they go. This active approach keeps learners engaged while strengthening critical thinking, spatial awareness, and global understanding. Because this is an ongoing class, families have flexibility. Each week stands alone, so learners can join at any time — stay for the whole year or hop in for the topics that spark your interest. We proudly create an inclusive, welcoming environment where all learners feel supported and encouraged. Our teachers guide discussions, adapt activities for different learning styles, and help students grow in confidence as young geographers and global citizens. If your learner loves maps, animals, cultures, art, and discovering how the world works, this class is the perfect place to explore — one continent at a time.
