Class Description

Age: 15-18 years old 45 minutes per class 1 day per week Step into a year of practical independence and hands-on learning! In this online class, teens ages 15–18 meet once a week for 45 minutes of interactive projects, games, and activities designed to strengthen life skills, executive function, money management, and basic cooking skills. Each session focuses on a specific skill and includes a hands-on activity, challenge, or project to help teens practice skills they’ll use in everyday life. Students will explore topics such as: * Executive Function Skills: goal-setting, time management, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making * Money Management: budgeting, saving, spending wisely, understanding banking, and planning for future goals * Self-Care & Practical Life Skills: simple cooking, meal planning, basic nutrition, household responsibilities, and personal care * Social & Emotional Growth: communication, stress management, confidence-building, and self-reflection Teens will complete projects like creating a personal budget, designing a weekly meal plan, preparing simple recipes, building organizational systems, and tackling real-life challenges. Every activity is hands-on, interactive, and directly applicable, ensuring that skills stick and confidence grows. This class is perfect for older teens ready to build independence, manage their time and money, and develop real-world skills in a fun, supportive online environment. Whether preparing for college, a part-time job, or life at home, students gain practical tools to thrive. With this class, teens will have a toolkit of life skills, executive strategies, financial know-how, and cooking basics, along with projects and experiences to show what they’ve accomplished — all while building confidence, independence, and practical skills for life beyond school. All sessions are held through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Pencil Spaces is also used to post announcements, supply lists, assignments, and helpful resources, as well as to support communication between learners, families, and the teacher, keeping everyone connected and informed for the duration of the subscription.


Cancellation Policy

All of Wild and Unstructured Learning's online classes have a minimum enrollment requirement of 2 learners to run. If a class does not have 2 learners, it will be canceled and a refund will be issued. Classes are eligible for full refunds up to 48 hours before the start of the class.
