Class Description

COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27 Age: 6-8 years old 35 minutes per class 4 days per week Welcome to Sprout & Shine Homeroom, a joyful online space for children ages 6–8 to grow, explore, and connect! This class meets four days a week for 35 minutes each session, providing a warm, playful environment where young learners can develop essential life skills, social skills, and executive functioning — all while having fun. Each week, our learners sprout new ideas and shine together through a mix of movement, hands-on activities, and group discussions. On Mondays, we start the week with light stretching and playful yoga, helping children build body awareness, balance, and focus. Tuesdays are all about practical life skills — simple cooking projects, hygiene routines, and independence-building activities. On Wednesdays, we focus on friendship and social connections, exploring empathy, cooperation, sharing, and communication through games and role-playing. Finally, Thursdays are all about reflection and creativity, giving children space to check in, share their thoughts, and explore arts, journaling, and other student-led topics. In Sprout & Shine Homeroom, every child is valued, heard, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. Together, we nurture bright hearts, curious minds, and meaningful friendships — creating a supportive community where children can connect, learn, and truly shine. All sessions are held live online through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. We also use Pencil Spaces to share announcements and helpful resources, ensuring families stay connected and informed throughout the year.
