Class Description
COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 10-12 years old 50 minutes, 2 days/week Price: $37.50 Step into a year of fun, hands-on learning with our Sixth Grade Foundations: Literacy & Math class! This class is designed to help learners build confidence, explore new ideas, and grow their skills in reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and math — all while having a great time. Throughout the year, students will dive into stories, fairy tales, poetry, myths, biographies, and more, writing everything from short stories and personal narratives to creative essays, persuasive pieces, and book or movie reviews. Weekly spelling and grammar lessons make sure every learner feels confident with words and language. In math, we explore fractions, decimals, integers, geometry, coordinate grids, ratios, and multi-step word problems — with lots of hands-on practice and real-world problem solving. Students see how math fits into everyday life, while building strong, lasting skills. Our classes are lively and interactive, with games, discussions, and collaborative projects that make learning social, exciting, and memorable. Every student is supported in a friendly, inclusive environment, where curiosity is encouraged and every question is welcomed. By the end of the year, learners will feel confident, independent, and ready to tackle new challenges — all while enjoying a year full of discovery, creativity, and fun! All sessions are held through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Pencil Spaces is also used to post announcements, supply lists, assignments, and helpful resources, as well as to support communication between learners, families, and the teacher, keeping everyone connected and informed for the duration of the subscription.
Cancellation Policy
All of Wild and Unstructured Learning's online classes have a minimum enrollment requirement of 2 learners to run. If a class does not have 2 learners, it will be canceled and a refund will be issued. Classes are eligible for full refunds up to 48 hours before the start of the class.
