Class Description
Age: 8-12 years old 55 minutes Hallo, Entdecker! (Hello, explorers!) Are you ready for a German adventure filled with mystery, movement, and hidden treasure? In this exciting, interactive German language class, learners will become explorers on a mission to unlock a mysterious treasure chest! But there's a catch: the treasure can only be opened by collecting five special stamps in their Explorer Passport. To earn each stamp, students must complete a fun language challenge that introduces them to German words, phrases, and everyday conversations. Throughout our adventure, learners will discover how to greet new friends, introduce themselves, count to ten, identify colors and animals, and even order a tasty treat at a pretend German café! Each challenge brings us one step closer to the treasure while helping students build confidence speaking and understanding German. At Wild and Unstructured Learning, we believe learning a new language should be an adventure, not just a list of words to memorize! This class combines storytelling, movement, games, creative activities, and real conversations to help learners explore German in a playful and meaningful way. Students will be encouraged to participate, ask questions, move around, and practice speaking in a welcoming environment where mistakes are simply part of learning. No previous German experience is necessary! By the end of our treasure hunt, learners will have practiced useful beginner German vocabulary, collected their five passport stamps, and earned an official German Explorer certificate to celebrate their accomplishment. Will you collect all five stamps and unlock the hidden treasure? Pack your curiosity, grab your Explorer Passport, and get ready to discover German one adventure at a time! Auf geht's! (Let's go!) This class meets live online for one session, offering learners a focused and engaging learning experience in a single meeting. The session is held via Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Pencil Spaces is used to post announcements, supply lists, and any helpful resources, as well as to support communication between learners, families, and the teacher before and after class, so everyone feels prepared and connected.
