Upcoming Sessions
Class Description
COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 10-13 years old 1 hour 1 day per week Welcome to Math Mavericks, where middle schoolers dive into math with curiosity, creativity, and confidence! This year-long class turns numbers, patterns, and problem-solving into hands-on challenges and real-world adventures. Learners explore math in ways that make sense to them — through games, interactive activities, and projects that show how math connects to the world around them. Throughout the year, students tackle key middle school concepts like fractions, decimals, and percentages, multi-step operations, ratios and rates, algebraic expressions and equations, integers, geometry, and surface area. They’ll also explore coordinate grids, graphing, transformations like rotations and reflections, and data analysis — all while solving meaningful, real-life problems that put their skills to the test. Classes are student-centered, encouraging independence and critical thinking while still being fun and interactive. Learners work together on challenges, explore concepts hands-on, and get regular feedback from teachers who meet every student where they are. The class is fully inclusive and designed so every student can take risks, ask questions, and feel proud of their progress. Families appreciate the flexibility of this ongoing program — students can jump in anytime or stay for the full year, revisiting concepts, building mastery, and growing confidence over time. By the end of the year, students will not only have mastered the 6th grade math curriculum, but will also have developed logical thinking, problem-solving strategies, and a real appreciation for the power of math in everyday life.
