Class Description
COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 6-10 years old 50 minutes 1 day per week Maps, Animals & More: Discover the World is an exciting, hands-on class where young learners become explorers of our planet! Each week, students will travel (virtually!) to a new location, discover amazing animals, and learn about the land, water, and air around them. We’ll explore continents and oceans, famous landforms, rivers, cities, and climates, and learn how to read maps, globes, and even create our own! Students will also learn about latitude, longitude, hemispheres, and natural resources, all while connecting animals to their homes around the world. From penguins in Antarctica to kangaroos in Australia, we’ll see where animals live and discover what they need to survive. Each lesson ends with a creative activity or art project based on that week’s location and animals. This is an ongoing class, and each lesson is standalone—so you can join whenever it works best for your family. Whether your child wants to explore the globe for a week or for the whole year, every class is a new adventure waiting to happen. We proudly create an inclusive, welcoming environment where all learners feel supported and encouraged. Our teachers guide discussions, adapt activities for different learning styles, and help students grow in confidence as young geographers and global citizens. Grab your explorer’s hat, pack your curiosity, and get ready to see the world from the ground and beyond!
