Class Description

COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 14-18 years old 1 hour per class 1 day per week Algebra doesn’t have to feel overwhelming — it can actually feel empowering. In this full-year Algebra 2 class, teens build confidence, problem-solving skills, and real understanding in a relaxed, supportive online space designed especially for homeschooling families. We move step-by-step, ask lots of questions, and work through challenges together so learners feel capable — not stressed. Each week, students explore new concepts through guided examples, discussion, and hands-on practice. We tackle everything from solving multi-step equations and graphing functions to systems of equations, matrices, quadratics, radicals, and more. Instead of memorizing steps, learners focus on truly understanding the why behind the math. Our teachers keep things friendly, interactive, and encouraging — creating a space where teens feel comfortable speaking up, trying again, and growing at their own pace. Mistakes are welcome here… they’re part of learning! Whether your learner loves math or feels a little unsure, this class helps them build strong skills, steady confidence, and the tools they need for higher math and real-world problem solving. All sessions are held through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Pencil Spaces is also used to post announcements, supply lists, assignments, and helpful resources, as well as to support communication between learners, families, and the teacher, keeping everyone connected and informed for the duration of the subscription.
