Class Description

Government • Critical Thinking • Citizenship Skills COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 6-10 years old 50 minutes 1 day per week Dive into the exciting world of Elementary Civics, where young learners become explorers of their communities, government, and the responsibilities that come with being a citizen! This class brings civics to life through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and engaging discussions. Each week, students will discover topics that matter to them—like family and community, rules and laws, elections and voting, government, and even careers in politics. Civic engagement is at the heart of the class, as students practice voting, creating petitions, contacting representatives, and solving local issues, while also learning about citizens’ rights through the Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence. No prior knowledge is needed — our teachers guide learners every step of the way, answering questions and encouraging exploration. Classes are ongoing and independent, so you can jump in whenever it fits your schedule. Each lesson stands alone, making it easy to attend for a single topic or stick with us for a full year of civics adventures. Join us for a fun, interactive journey where students learn, create, and engage with the world of civics. Together, we’ll explore communities, government, rules, responsibilities, and the exciting ways young people can make a positive impact!
