Glow & Grow: Kids Self-Care Studio

Class Description

Age: 8-12 years old 45 minutes per class 1 day per week Welcome to a fun, creative space where kids can explore self-care, try new looks, and build confidence! In this beginner-friendly, hands-on class, students will learn the basics of skincare, hair care, simple makeup, and nail fun in ways that are safe, age-appropriate, and focused on healthy habits. Each week brings a new, exciting topic, so kids can jump in anytime and enjoy a complete, stand-alone lesson. Students will discover how to take care of themselves while having fun and being creative. We focus on easy routines, natural looks, and playful self-expression, helping kids feel confident just as they are. Topics may include: * Building simple skincare routines and learning about different skin types * Easy hairstyles like braids, ponytails, buns, and no-heat curls * Beginner makeup techniques using light, age-appropriate colors * Nail care basics, mini manicures, and fun nail art designs * Color matching, styling tips, and creative ways to express themselves Classes are interactive, relaxed, and supportive. Kids are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and join in at their own comfort level. Whether they follow along step-by-step or just watch and learn, everyone is included. This class is all about self-care, creativity, and confidence — not perfection. We celebrate individuality and help kids develop skills they can use every day in a safe, positive, and playful way. All sessions are held through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Pencil Spaces is also used to post announcements, supply lists, assignments, and helpful resources, as well as to support communication between learners, families, and the teacher, keeping everyone connected and informed for the duration of the subscription.
