Upcoming Sessions
Class Description
COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 5-7 years old 50 minutes per class 2 days per week This full-year, ongoing class blends reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and math into interactive lessons that help children build strong academic foundations while having fun and feeling confident. Through games, discussions, hands-on activities, and plenty of encouragement, learners grow into capable readers, writers, and problem solvers in a warm, welcoming classroom community. Throughout the year, students practice sight words and phonics, strengthen reading comprehension with stories, poetry, nonfiction, and fairy tales, and build writing skills through sentences, letters, descriptive pieces, how-to stories, and short paragraphs. Weekly spelling lists support decoding and fluency, while grammar lessons gently introduce nouns, verbs, adjectives, sentence structure, contractions, and more. In math, learners explore addition and subtraction strategies, place value, time, money, measurement, graphs, shapes, and word problems—developing number sense and real-world problem-solving skills along the way. Families love the flexibility of this class—you can join anytime, stay for the whole year, or attend the weeks that fit your schedule. Light optional practice is provided for home, and teachers offer guidance, encouragement, and feedback so each child continues to grow at their own pace. Every lesson is designed to be supportive, inclusive, and confidence-building, helping first graders feel excited about learning and proud of their progress. Come learn, laugh, and grow with us—first grade has never been so fun!
