Class Description

COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 11-15 years old 50 minutes 1 day per week Curious about how the world works? Discover Science: Investigate, Create, Experiment is a hands-on, interactive class designed to make science exciting, challenging, and fun for middle school learners. Each week, students explore a new topic, including genetics, chemical reactions, ecosystems, space, energy, physics, and Earth science, with engaging projects and experiments that bring concepts to life. Our passionate teachers encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and think critically. Lessons focus on hands-on learning, whether it’s building circuits, modeling ecosystems, analyzing fossils, or experimenting with chemical reactions. Students gain experience with the scientific method, observation, and problem-solving, all while collaborating with peers in a supportive and inclusive environment. Topics do not build on one another, so learners can join any week that sparks their interest — or stay for the full year to explore a wide variety of science adventures. Every student, regardless of background or learning style, is encouraged to participate and thrive — our educators meet learners where they are, making science accessible, engaging, and inspiring. By the end of each session, students will not only understand key scientific concepts, but also develop hands-on skills, analytical thinking, and curiosity that will serve them both in and out of the classroom. Whether studying the solar system, DNA and genetics, renewable resources, or future technologies, this class is all about exploring, experimenting, and discovering the wonders of science together!
