Class Description
COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 7-9 years old 1 hour 1 day per week Welcome to Curious Calculators, a fun, year-long math adventure for 3rd graders! In this class, students dive into the world of numbers, shapes, and problem solving while building confidence and a love for learning. Each week, learners explore new concepts and revisit familiar ideas in a hands-on, interactive way that makes math meaningful and exciting. Throughout the year, students will tackle topics like multi-digit addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions, measurement, time, area and perimeter, and data interpretation. They’ll also practice solving multi-step word problems, comparing numbers, and exploring patterns — all while learning to think like confident problem-solvers. Classes are lively and engaging, with games, collaborative activities, and hands-on challenges that bring math to life. Students receive weekly practice opportunities, and teachers provide individualized feedback and guidance to support each learner’s growth. Our classroom is inclusive, welcoming, and child-centered, encouraging curiosity, participation, and the joy of discovery. By the end of the year, your 3rd grader will have a strong foundation in all essential math skills, the confidence to tackle new challenges, and a toolkit of strategies to explore numbers, patterns, and problem-solving in everyday life. All sessions are held through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Pencil Spaces is also used to post announcements, supply lists, assignments, and helpful resources, as well as to support communication between learners, families, and the teacher, keeping everyone connected and informed for the duration of the subscription.
Cancellation Policy
All of Wild and Unstructured Learning's online classes have a minimum enrollment requirement of 2 learners to run. If a class does not have 2 learners, it will be canceled and a refund will be issued. Classes are eligible for full refunds up to 48 hours before the start of the class.
