Age: 11-14 years old 1 hour The zombie apocalypse has begun, and your survival depends on your ability to think fast, solve problems, and work as a team! In this one-time, escape room-style class, learners will take on a series of challenges using math, science, logic, and critical thinking to develop a survival plan and make it through the zombie apocalypse. The mission won't be easy! Learners will solve supply and resource puzzles, calculate how long their food and water will last, analyze clues to find a safe shelter, and make tough decisions about where to go and what to do next. Along the way, they will use clues, crack codes, solve problems, and weigh the risks and benefits of different choices. Every challenge will bring them one step closer to completing their mission, but they will need to think carefully because every decision can make a difference! Can you gather the supplies, outsmart the obstacles, and make it to safety before time runs out? Put your problem-solving skills to the test in this playful, interactive adventure where math and science meet survival strategy. Bring your curiosity, creativity, and best ideas as you work through the challenges and discover whether you have what it takes to survive! This class meets live online for one session, offering learners a focused and engaging learning experience in a single meeting.
