Class Description
COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 11-14 years old 50 minutes, 2 days/week Price: $37.50 Join us for a full year of curiosity, creativity, and confidence-building in our Seventh Grade Foundations: Literacy & Math! This welcoming and interactive class blends reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and math into meaningful lessons that help learners grow while truly enjoying the learning process. Throughout the year, students explore a wide variety of engaging texts — everything from fantasy, historical fiction, mysteries, poetry, biographies, and drama to fascinating nonfiction articles. Writing comes to life through short stories, personal narratives, argumentative essays, research projects, poetry, book reviews, and even creative fairy tales, helping learners discover their unique voice and become strong, confident communicators. Weekly spelling and grammar practice keeps skills sharp in a relaxed, supportive way. Math is hands-on and practical, with students building confidence in fractions, decimals, percents, integers, algebra basics, geometry, surface area and volume, ratios, proportions, and multi-step problem solving. We focus on understanding the “why,” not just the “how,” so math feels approachable and useful in everyday life. Our classes are lively and community-centered. Expect games, discussions, collaborative activities, and creative projects that make learning social and fun. Teachers provide encouragement, individualized support, and helpful feedback, creating a space where every learner feels seen, included, and capable. Whether your child joins us for a few weeks or the whole year, they’ll gain strong skills, meaningful friendships, and the confidence to take on new challenges—all while learning in a joyful, relaxed environment. All sessions are held through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Pencil Spaces is also used to post announcements, supply lists, assignments, and helpful resources, as well as to support communication between learners, families, and the teacher, keeping everyone connected and informed for the duration of the subscription.
Cancellation Policy
All of Wild and Unstructured Learning's online classes have a minimum enrollment requirement of 2 learners to run. If a class does not have 2 learners, it will be canceled and a refund will be issued. Classes are eligible for full refunds up to 48 hours before the start of the class.
