Class Description

COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 6-10 years old 50 minutes 1 day per week Curious about the world around you? Young Scientists’ Lab: Explore, Discover, Create is a hands-on, fun, and inclusive science class designed to spark curiosity and creativity in young learners. Each week, students explore a new topic, ranging from the solar system and weather, to plants and ecosystems, to energy, simple machines, and engineering challenges. Our passionate teachers bring science to life through engaging experiments, creative projects, and interactive demonstrations. Students are encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, and explore ideas in a supportive environment where every learner’s curiosity is celebrated. Topics include exploring Earth’s systems, chemical reactions, anatomy, robotics, space exploration, natural resources, conservation, and more. Each lesson is designed to inspire discovery, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. Because topics do not build on each other, students can join any week that sparks their interest — or stay for the full year to explore a wide variety of science adventures. By the end of each class, students will not only understand the concepts they’ve explored, but also gain practical experience through experiments, creative problem-solving, and interactive projects that make science come alive. Science isn’t just something to learn — it’s something to see, touch, question, and enjoy! All sessions are held through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Pencil Spaces is also used to post announcements, supply lists, assignments, and helpful resources, as well as to support communication between learners, families, and the teacher, keeping everyone connected and informed for the duration of the subscription.
