Class Description

Literary Analysis • Creative Expression • Interactive Learning Price: $84 (approx. GBP 62.65) Age: 12-16 years old 55 minutes per class meets once a week for 7 weeks Step into the world of The Outsiders & discover a powerful story about friendship, belonging, courage, and growing up. In this welcoming, discussion-based literature and writing class, learners explore S.E. Hinton’s classic novel through meaningful conversations, creative activities, and expressive writing. Together, we’ll unpack the characters, themes, and big questions in the story while helping students build confidence in reading, thinking, and sharing their ideas. This isn’t just a book study. It’s a place where learners connect, reflect, create, and find their voice. Perfect for middle and early high school readers who enjoy stories with heart, depth, and relatable characters. Parent Note The Outsiders includes references to fighting, loss, and smoking. These topics are discussed thoughtfully and age-appropriately as part of our literary study. All sessions are held via Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Reading assignments, project details, discussion questions, and helpful resources will be posted there as well. Pencil Spaces is also used for communication between learners, families, and the teacher, helping everyone stay connected and supported throughout the course.


Cancellation Policy

All of Wild and Unstructured Learning's online classes have a minimum enrollment requirement of 2 learners to run. If a class does not have 2 learners, it will be canceled and a refund will be issued. Classes are eligible for full refunds up to 48 hours before the start of the class.
