Class Description

COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27 Age: 3-5 years old 35 minutes per class 4 days per week Welcome to Roots & Wings Homeroom, a warm and playful online space for children ages 3–5 to grow, explore, and connect! Our homeroom meets four days a week in short, interactive sessions designed to help little learners build confidence, independence, and friendships — all while having fun. Each week, children enjoy a gentle rhythm of activities. We start with movement, stretching, and yoga to wake up our bodies, practice balance, and learn focus. Then we explore practical life skills, like simple cooking, cleaning up, gardening, and daily routines — giving children the tools to feel capable and independent. Friendship and social connection are at the heart of our homeroom. Through stories, games, role-play, and guided discussions, children practice sharing, listening, understanding emotions, and working together. The week wraps up with child-led activities like arts and crafts, show-and-tell, journaling, or other topics inspired by the learners themselves. Our teachers create a nurturing, inclusive, and flexible environment where every child is encouraged to participate, express themselves, and feel safe. Roots & Wings Homeroom is part homeroom, part life skills lab, and part friendship club — the perfect place for young learners to take root, spread their wings, and explore the world with confidence and curiosity. All sessions are held live online through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. We also use Pencil Spaces to share announcements and helpful resources, ensuring families stay connected and informed throughout the year.
