GBP 46.99) Age: 5-9 years old 45 minutes per class, once a week 6 weeks Join us for six weeks of laughter, creativity, and elephant-and-piggy-sized fun in Piggie & Gerald: Laugh, Read, Create! In this lively book club, learners will explore Mo Willems’ beloved Piggie & Gerald books through interactive read-alouds, expressive reading practice, and hands-on activities. Each week, we’ll dive into a new story, bring the characters to life, act out silly scenes, and create crafts inspired by Piggie and Gerald’s hilarious adventures. From flying lessons and party planning to toy mishaps and surprising friends, every class is filled with fun, learning, and laughter! What Learners Will Do * Read aloud with silly voices and expression to build fluency * Act out scenes from each story to explore emotions, humor, and problem-solving * Create hands-on crafts and games inspired by the books * Share ideas, toys, and surprises with classmates in a friendly, inclusive environment This book club not only nurtures a love of reading, it also encourages self-expression, creativity, and social-emotional skills. All sessions are held via Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. Reading assignments, project details, discussion questions, and helpful resources will be posted there as well. Pencil Spaces is also used for communication between learners, families, and the teacher, helping everyone stay connected and supported throughout the course.
