Upcoming Sessions
Class Description
COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27 Age: 5-7 years old 50 minutes 1 day per week Step into the Discovery Den, where first graders become little math explorers! This full-year class takes students on a hands-on journey through the world of numbers. Each week, learners discover new ways to add, subtract, compare, measure, tell time, count money, explore shapes, and solve problems. Along the way, students will explore exciting topics like place value, addition and subtraction strategies, odd and even numbers, graphing, simple word problems, and even 3-addend challenges. They’ll also investigate shapes and geometry, practice measuring with rulers, and use everyday math in fun, meaningful ways. Our approach encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence. Lessons are full of games, interactive activities, and real-world math challenges that make learning meaningful and fun. Students get weekly practice and gentle guidance from our teachers, who provide support, feedback, and encouragement along the way. In the Discovery Den, every child is valued, every question is welcomed, and learning is an adventure. By the end of the year, students will have strengthened their number sense, built problem-solving skills, and developed a love of math that lasts well beyond first grade.
