Grow Your Skills • Make New Friends • Explore Together COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27 Age: 9-11 years old 35 minutes per class 4 days per week Welcome to Adventure Homeroom, the online space where learning meets play, curiosity sparks friendships, and every day brings a new opportunity to explore! Designed for children ages 9–11, this class meets four days a week for 35 minutes per session, offering a warm and supportive environment where learners can grow, connect, and thrive. Each week, we embark on new adventures in life skills, social connections, and creative exploration. Mondays are all about starting the week calm and focused with fun stretching and yoga exercises that build balance, flexibility, and mindfulness. On Tuesdays, learners dive into practical skills for everyday life, from cooking simple recipes to understanding personal hygiene, money basics, and time management. These hands-on activities help children build independence and confidence. Wednesdays focus on friendship and social growth, where students practice empathy, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving through interactive activities and role-playing. These sessions strengthen connections and teach valuable life skills in a supportive community. Finally, Thursdays are all about reflection, creativity, and student interests. Children share their thoughts and experiences during check-ins and explore topics like journaling, arts and crafts, science experiments, and more—guided by their curiosity and imagination. Throughout the year, learners engage with topics like budgeting, basic first aid, gardening, DIY projects, public speaking, and technology skills, all while building friendships, confidence, and a love for learning. Adventure Homeroom isn’t just a class—it’s a journey where skills grow, friendships blossom, and curiosity leads the way. All sessions are held live online through Pencil Spaces, making it easy for families to join from anywhere. We also use Pencil Spaces to share announcements and helpful resources, ensuring families stay connected and informed throughout the year.
