Class Description

COMING SCHOOL YEAR 2026-27!!! Age: 15-18 years old 50 minutes per class 2 days per week Step into 11th grade with a class designed for curious minds, creative thinkers, and learners who thrive in an inclusive, supportive environment. Our 11th Grade Foundations: Literacy & Math class blends algebra 2, reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and literature into a hands-on, interactive learning experience that keeps students engaged all year long. Learners can join anytime or stick with us for the full year. Each week, we explore topics that build essential 11th grade skills, like analyzing literary passages, writing persuasive and narrative essays, interpreting texts, and solving algebraic problems. We make math approachable, from solving equations and inequalities to working with functions, matrices, and radicals. In English, students dive into literature, practice writing with style, and strengthen skills in argument, research, and creative expression. Our classes are more than worksheets — they’re an experience! Through interactive discussions, games, and hands-on activities, students practice collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, all in a 100% child-led and inclusive environment. Weekly spelling lists and optional homework give students extra practice, with thoughtful feedback from our teachers. Join us to build skills, boost confidence, and have fun learning with friends — all while mastering the core concepts of 11th grade literacy and math!
