Tiara began Wild & Unstructured Learning in October 2020 with a simple but powerful belief:
every child deserves an education that works for who they are—not just how systems are designed.
We are a team of experienced, international educators who have worked with children across learning styles, ages, and educational paths. We support homeschooling and unschooling families, and we also partner with students in traditional public and private school settings who need something more—more connection, more flexibility, more understanding.
On paper, school often looks fine.
Grades may be steady, progress reports may be positive, teachers may say a child is “doing well.” And yet, at home, families notice something different: evening meltdowns, growing frustration, Sunday night anxiety. Perhaps families are seeing a child who is technically succeeding, but emotionally struggling.
Perhaps a family is feeling, “Nothing is technically wrong… but something isn’t right.”
That feeling matters.
At Wild & Unstructured Learning, we believe that academic success and emotional well-being are inseparable. Children learn differently. They need different levels of support, different pacing, and different ways to engage with material. Learning should not require children to shrink themselves to fit a mold.
Our classes are not “sit down and be quiet” environments. Discussion is encouraged. Curiosity is welcomed. Hands-on, project-based learning is central to how we teach, because children learn best when they are actively involved and genuinely interested.
Most importantly, we work with each child individually to ensure they feel comfortable, capable, and fully included in their own education. When children feel safe and supported, confidence grows—and a love of learning follows.
Wild & Unstructured Learning exists to give families permission to trust what they see in their own homes.
